This establishment is located less than a half-mile away from the Imperial Palace. The Nissho Besso is also close to the famous geisha district for which Kyoto is principally known. This establishment was remodeled in 1992, but the roots of the Nissho Besso go all the way back to the year 1788. It was once the home of a wealthy merchant.
